After being hit by a lady looking at her cell phone, going at 50 miles an hour while I was at a dead stop making a left turn two years ago left me with a back injury as well as right leg issues. I’m good now for about 200 to 300 miles before things start hurting pretty bad. So when my daughter who used to ride with me for years and years wanted to do some special for my 60th birthday and put together a motorcycle trip for us on the West Coast it came to be a little dilemma for me on how to get my bike out there. Knowing that I no longer can make that kind a trip without taking a month off which I don’t have a month off, I looked at shipping my bike but quickly decided not to do that or rent a bike, so I remembered the loadall system I’ve seen for several years down at the Thunder Beach Rally in Panamal City Beach. After watching the videos about 1 million times and talking to Paul at Loadall I purchase a system for my 2018 Ford F150 short bed. I installed it on a Saturday a couple weeks ago had a few issues and Paul answered his phone every time yes on the weekend, my friends that’s customer service, he was able to guide me on what I was doing wrong🤔 and gave me some helpful hints.
This system is fantastic. I currently have two trailers one is a 20 foot for when I go to a bike event and take several of my custom bikes and I have a single axle 12 foot trailer which is what I would’ve hauled my bike to California with. It is for sale now.
And for the comments on here saying
“I ride mine I don’t need this” yeah right, most people I know that flap their lips about that are lucky if they put 1000 miles on their bike in a year. And for those of you that mouth about the trailer is easier don’t really own a trailer. It’s simple math which I don’t think most of those people can understand, it’s called cost of ownership. The trailer will cost you insurance every month and if you don’t have a place to keep it you will pay out every month to store the trailer, a trailer will also cost you in maintenance for tires over a period of time if used.
Now if you are just plain irresponsible and don’t keep insurance on your trailer and keep it in the front yard of your house this does not apply to you.
The Loadall doesn’t cost you Insurance every month, a storage facility, or maintenance and repair for things like tires, brakes or wheel bearings. In my truck I checked the gas mileage and was surprised it’s the same with the weight of the loadall as it was without it, this may not apply to what you’re driving but it has applied to the newer Ford I have. Every situation is different but this my friends is the perfect solution for me.
